Both shops have regular sales where you can seek out a bargain or two, as well as exclusive hand-built products not available online or in the catalogue. Ex-display dolls' houses are on sale at various times throughout the year, often fully decorated and lit. We look forward to seeing you soon!
A beautifully-finished Mornington Mews
This month we have a selection of ex-display houses available to buy - ready-built - at The Dolls House Emporium shops at Ripley, Derbyshire and Houghton Hall, Cumbria.
You can’t get them anywhere else so now’s the time to make that visit you always promised yourself!
One-off houses at Ripley include a 1930s design, Mountfield, renowned for easy access through four individual opening panels. There’s just one partly-dressed Mountfield in stock, so if you’re quick it could be yours!
There is also a final chance to buy a Mornington Mews and a Country Store, among the last available to collectors.
More one-off houses will be on sale on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks last, so come along and visit and take a look.
- During February there will also be additional, exclusive, one-off furniture and accessories samples available in the shop, at very attractive prices, while stocks last.

Creative competition winner is now on display!
At the Ripley shop you can now see the amazing winning entry from the 2011 Creative Competition, which is on show until the springtime.
The top spot went to Emma Metcalfe, from Wales, who re-created a historic hillside home in the tale of Tŷ Unnos – or House of One Night.

From the North:
M1 junction 28 onto A38
Take the A38 towards Derby. After approximately 5½ miles, take the slip road for
Ripley A610. Continue as for the A38, below.
From the A38
At the Ripley junction, take the A610 towards Nottingham. Following the signs to Nottingham:
- go straight on at the first (Butterley Park/Police Headquarters) roundabout
- second exit off the second (Police Headquarters) roundabout
- first exit off the third (Sainsbury's) roundabout
Turn left at the traffic lights (Stringfellows Trade Outlet) into Brittain Drive.
Take the first right into High Holborn Road.
The Dolls House Emporium is 200 yards on the left. Please take the third entrance, where you can drive through the gates to the shop.
From the South:
M1 junction 26
Take the A610 towards Ripley. After approximately 7¼ miles at the T junction in Codnor, turn right at the traffic lights, towards Ripley. After approximately a further half mile, turn right at the traffic lights (Stringfellows Trade Outlet) into Brittain Drive. Take the first right into High Holborn Road.
The Dolls House Emporium is 200 yards on the left. Please take the third entrance, where you can drive through the gates to the shop.
